The aim of the Sussex Chelonian Society is to help advise, educate and support keepers of Chelonia with an inexpesive membership that offers a number of services as listed below:

* Worming will be available at the four clinics; June, July, August and September. Worming powder can be bought for £6 and advice will be given at the time according to weight, breed, size etc. For example 1 packet of worming powder may worm a tortoise of small - medium size for two / three years.

* Microchipping is offered at our clinics for the price of £20 (some of which is dontated to the Society) Microchipping is strongly advised however all tortoises will be subject to a weight, size and health check prior to chipping (in clinic).

We aim to produce three informal magazines each year, with the latest ideas on Chelonian management, some informative articles relevent to the time of the year plus a light hearted element.
